Yep, this is what the entourage looks like at the suit shop when the boy is trying on suit pants...
Picture coming soon since rotating didn't work on my phone.

Spencer dear!
Happy days will come to you all year!
If I had a wish then it would be:
A happy happy birthday to you from me!
Such a CUTE birthday boy!
So, not sure what exactly I'm eating for the next week or so, but I do know that it will somehow involve potatoes. Lots and lots of potatoes! :-)
What a powerful, emotional day! I love being greeted by flags everywhere I look. Such a powerful display of solidarity!
In my classroom we started the day watching a video and discussing the basics of September 11th - what happened, why it happened, and why we celebrate it. Thank you BrainPop for animated, tactful, factual, sensitive videos about hard topics that kids can understand!
Then we watched 911day.org's video about the movement to make this day the single largest day of service and kindness-from hygiene kits and book drives to flash mobs and smiles-thousands of people doing kind deeds makes this a day of powerful solidarity, rather than sadness and fear.
After the video, my students finished this sentence:
On September 11, 2012 I will...
...say thank you to a police officer
...help my mom
...collect toys and clothes for kids with cancer.
So, what will YOU do?
... can escalate normal things like garbage can scooters and wheelchairs into something deadly! ;-)
So on Saturday we went temple hopping. We intended to go to the Brigham City temple open house but it was closed for Peach Days. So instead we visited the Logan, Brigham City, and Ogden temples for photography sessions!
Pictures coming soon!
I love when "clean up your area" during afternoon routine includes my table. I love my cute little busy bees!
I stopped by the garden yesterday to grab a few things, and noticed that our pumpkins are HUGE and orange! I love fall!
And there was a cute little undaunted flower too!
"I'm a great sous chef!" He says as we leave the pool. He helped me make a chocolate zucchini cake. It is quite yummy, if we do say so ourselves!
Oh and he's obsessed with Hunger Games. We watched it while we made our cake!
I'm glad his parents don't mind sharing him with me!
